(January 22, 2020, 12:38 am)The Hangar Cafe is in a cool spot right of the runway of the Chandler Regional airport. You'll see planes firing up to taxi to the runway and next door you'll see beautiful planes. Oh yeah the food! It is pretty decent breakfast fair. I loved the chicken fried steak, just juicy enough to cut it with a fork and the gravy, yes the gravy was tasty! Service was excellant and efficient. I could tell I had been sleeping on this place as it was busy as can be. The strange thing is that there was hardly any wait. Definitely make your way to this restaurant and take in the sights and the smells! FYI Do bring your patience, parking is eventful.
(January 12, 2020, 5:14 pm)What a great find. Nice atmosphere and very friendly. Food very good. The ham and eggs breakfast was very good. Besides the food watching the planes coming and going are an added bonus. I recommend this fun breakfast place.
(January 12, 2020, 4:52 pm)We met here with a great friend who lives out of state, who was visiting his family. There were 8 of us and we met from different areas to meet for breakfast before his plane left at Gateway. How cool to see the small planes taking off! My breakfast was perfect for me. A spinach and feta omelet with hash browns. I can't have gluten so they substituted tomato slices for toast. Omelet was delicious and big! Wish I had taken a photo. Barely ate it all. I would totally recommend this little place for atmosphere and food.
(August 4, 2019, 3:04 pm)Very cute cafe for breakfast. They even have an enclosed patio that you can view the planes from coming and going while you eat or sip a beverage. Staff was very attentive despite the restaurant being full. Food was good w/the normal breakfast choices. I will drop by again when in the area.
