Desert Haven Assisted Living Home

I have never experienced assisted living like this. It's truly more of a family than a facility. Not only is the home immaculately kept and cleaned, but the workers are so compassionate and accommodating. Amber and Joe, the owners, are present and invested in their residents and go above and beyond for them and their families. Residents are spoiled with an array of activities like bingo, dominoes, puzzles, painting, reading, and much more. They have a beautiful backyard for the residents to enjoy when weather permits. I can't imagine a better environment for your loved ones.

We researched and visited several group homes and found this one to be the very best. We were searching for my brother who was terminally ill. The moment we walked in you could feel that this place was special. Amber treats everyone with great respect, kindness, patience and love. She is passionate about her care for her residents. She creates a family environment and you can see how happy the residents are.
My brother received incredible care throughout his illness. He adored Amber, which Is easy to do as well as her staff. She and her staff were professional, knowledgable and compassionate beyond what one would expect. She always made sure to keep communication between our family ongoing and we would/ we're able to call her at any time. Our family felt so at ease there that we decided we all wanted to move in and have Amber care for us!!

I would highly recommend this group home to anyone who needs care.

I am a placement agent and have had many of my clients reside in this care home. Let me say that this is an excellent choice for your loved one, Amber one of the owners, is the most loving and caring person. She goes out of her way to make sure her residents have everything they need to feel safe and comfortable and loved. My families all rave about her and how wonderful she is! The house is always spotless and smells nice and the residents are always happy: She and Joe make a great team, the care here is second to none! A truly great care home!

Can't say enough good things about Desert Haven and it's staff. Specifically the owners Joe and Amber. They are taking such great care of my father who due to prostate cancer spreading to his spine was paralyzed from the waist down last Sept. We have been with Desert Haven since April 2020 and it has been wonderful. My dad's care is top notch and they make him feel like family. In fact, all the individuals at the home have become our extended family. They have developed an environment which is very caring and attentive to individual needs of the people that are there. Their compassion and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the person is treated well is fantastic. Great Place - Great People
Our mother has been in multiple assisted livings over the last 5 years. We believe that we have found the best. The ratio of Caregivers to residents is very good, and much better than any facility can provide. I highly recommend Amber's Assisted Living home. We did not think we would find a place where mother would feel at home, but thanks to this facility, she feels right at home. Best Caregivers!
