Our 13 yo loves her!
Kelsey has been working with our son for over 2 years now. My son has been working on developing coping strategies for anxiety and impulse control. She has provided my son, and family, with invaluable support during some difficult transitions. She has been particularly helpful in collaborating with us to develop action items and plans for helping my son at home and at school. My son truly enjoys his visits with her and always leaves with an increased feeling of confidence and self worth. We are extremely grateful to Kelsey and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a compassionate counselor for their child or self.
I've been coming to see Kelsey for the past two years. What started out as needing help through a turbulent time in my life has turned into a relationship of the utmost trust and respect. She has helped me to understand and further develop the skills needed to process and move forward through traumatic events and not use alcohol and self harm as a crutch. If you are looking for a truly genuine and kind-hearted person to turn to, that will not only listen but help you grow, than Kelsey is who you're looking for!
Kelsey has been an amazing counselor for our adolescent children! Her professionalism and advocacy are only surpassed by her compassion and patient centered care. Her appointments run on-time yet you never feel rushed while in-session. She is easy to work with on scheduling and willing to work with the child's school when appropriate. I can also recommend her monthly group therapy sessions for kids and sessions for teens. We've received great results from her Social Skills Development session for our Autistic teen.
Kelsey is incredible and has been so helpful in my life. I have been going to see her for approximately 5 years, originally for relationship counseling and now for personal. She is able to look at problems objectively and offer educated advice. She has recommendations for "homework", for example books to read, quizzes to do, or goals to work on until your next session. Every time I leave her office I feel like I have taken a burden off my shoulders and feel so relieved and refreshed. She is so relatable and friendly, making it easy to be comfortable and open with her! I recommend her to everyone.
