Lucky Lou's American Grill

The service was quick despite it being a full house. The food was great! If we did end up having to wait, it would have been worth it. We had the traditional wings, onion rings, fried pickles, and French dip. The only complaint we had was the sauce for the wings was a little runny. We also had a draft beer and a royal berry cocktail. It was delicious! It tasted almost exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher. Otherwise, we're pretty sure we've found our new favorite place for drinks and bar food!

A generally fine luncheon experience. Busy. Luncheon specials. Very good New England Clam Chowder. Good burger and the onion rings were spectacular - fresh, crunchy, and the onion inside was not stringy. Chicken breast sandwich on a wheat bun was okay, seemed like more bun than chicken. Don't forget to ask for a condiment on it. House salad as a side had lots of lettuce. May be worth a second visit.

Oh my, let me tell you about the delicious fried pickles. The batter is amazing. Its like eating a chicken sandwich with a pickle, but no bread. Amazing. I had the Fried Shrimp basket appetizer, with the same batter - large shrimp- very good. My friend DM had a Southwest chicken sandwich and fries that was very tasty! Small cozy place, tv's up, bar area, seating indoor & outdoor. The wait staff was very friendly. They didn't mention a change in side would be an upcharge, so I was surprised at the bill. I should have read the menu more thoroughly. Will definitely be back.
