Verde River

This is my families favorite place to go camp! It's just a short drive out of town to get away from all the craziness of the big nasty city!!!

Just fun to visit and my best friend is staying down there right now so even more fun

This will always be the best place to hike!!! SO MANY trails to choose from. Be careful though, Some parts of the trail have been swept away from the rain. Always very green & shaded always cool sights to see!! From being by the water, all the different plants, To Wild horses, lizards, bunny’s, even some snakes (not poisonous).The amount of butterflies in this area is insane!!! I love this place & recommend to everyone.

Beautiful and clean. Perfect for a quick day trip or overnight camping. Port-o-potties are kept up nicely and the majority of people you meet are friendly. Must have a Tonto Pass. Campfires are okay, but be extra careful and don't forget your shovel and buckets of water to douse the fire. And animals must be on leashes. It's a first come, first serve basis, and this place is always busy.

Beautiful area. The river and scenario is a great way to escape the city without having to go too far out of the city.
