Gilbert definitely needed this place! A well rounded restaurant, with eccentric dishes and friendly staff. The bar is incredible, the drinks are diverse and tasty without being pretentious. The natural wine selection is also my favorite thing! Wine without all the sugar and (hangover) is my style. Get the spring rolls, the mussels, and the chicken satay. They even have vegan options for people with allergies or dietary restrictions.
I think it’s really silly when people complain about portion size and price, this isn’t panda express people, it’s fine dining, grow up.
Spent the evening with my friends this Saturday at Belly Gilbert and let me tell you, were not disappointed. Absolutely loved everything that we had, the tapas style menu allowed us to try multiple dishes which we all shared and enjoyed! My favorite had to the fiery braised jackfruit with a side of rice. Great vegan options this simple menu, great drinks. Excellent staff and service, would highly recommend. Even if you are in the west valley or north phoenix it’s definitely worth the drive.
Nice location, right by Agritopia Farms!
We got there around 4 o’clock and it was not crowded at all, it was Saturday, probably because many people still don’t know about this place as it is new in Gilbert. A girl welcomed us right away , I believe her name was Veronica. She took us at the table, actually let us pick where to sit since pretty much all the tables were available. The place is cute , the kitchen is open and the service was great. My friend was very picky and asked the waitress many questions and the girl was very polite and knowledgeable. The food was really good, I ordered a green papaya salad and my friend got some crispy spring rolls. I tried a piece of the rolls and they were so delicious. The salad I ordered was not like a usual salad , I will attach a picture. It was very yummy yet I could taste the spiciness towards the end. Our neighbors at the table ordered the Belly of the Beast cocktail $48 and serves 4 people. I’ll attach a photo of that as well.
Overall, it was a great experience and I want to mentioned that around 5-6 o’clock it got crowded which I think is great for a new business in the area.
