  I am writing this review to give credit where credit is due. I am currently in my last two weeks before my internship and I just have to say. If you are thinking of getting into the Audio Industry CRAS is an excellent place to start(and No, you can not learn what you get here on Youtube, lol). This place is amazing and fiercely geared up! Starting with their huge Live Sound room with complete PA (and flown array) in addition to 11 studios, all ready for any sesion. Yes, you will be having hands on experience on all equipment included with instruction from awesome audio engineers who are fantastic, with their knowledge, coupled with love for audio and teaching!! I had no prior experience, now I have the ability to set up the control room and studio(live room, Iso booth), record and overdub artist onto tape and/or Pro Tools, mix and master etc... tear down and zero out. I am at my level and others will be greater and lesser, the only lack in this school was my own lack. I will continue to purse and further my skill and education in this field of audio that this school caused to considerably increase!! I truly have great respect for the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. A big shout out to (and staff I did not mention , I am sure are just as fantastic and make this all work) all these awesome engineers and support staff that have made this essential part of my journey possible.   This school is very amazing and they had a freaking Emmy Award on the shelf when you walk into the main entrance!!!!????????????❤????

  I have never felt so excited to come to school! The instructors are experienced and invested in my future. I am so grateful for the supportive staff. I would recommend this school to anyone serious about being employed in the audio field.

  CRAS-Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences was back out at NASCAR this passed weekend for its 9th appearance in the broadcast compound. NBC A1 Shawn Peacock and Submixer Steve Urick are pushing 128 channels of audio to the CRAS mobile broadcast unit so that the 11 students that are onsite each day can get a chance to mix a major live television event without the pressure of actually being on-air!

  The amount of experience and knowledge that I gained from this school is amazing. I started with almost no previous experience and as of now I have run my own recording sessions with local artists, learned about live sound for concerts and theater, integrated my own sound effects into a video game, and even set up a live broadcast stream. The staff and instructors are all knowledgable and helpful, with plenty of experience in their respective fields of audio. CRAS has truly created a path for my future as an audio engineer.
