Awesome food and Matt was a great server and made for a wonderful experience. The duck fries are the best! The beer is too fancy and an overload of IPAs and "foo-foo" beers for my taste. It would be nice to have some straightforward wheat, Belgians, ales, etc.
A company that knows a quality product will get repeat customers. The food is from scratch with fresh ingredients made with care. The beer is outrageous and I mean that in a good way. Where as my go to is the Refuge IPA (which I recommend), the beers are different almost every time we go in. This helps to keep the selection fresh. They do seasonal beers and foods as well. We have been coming here at least twice a month for years and I want to continue. Please don't ever lose the quality like other places around town! The only con is the wait can be long. They use to have a beer garden you could grab a beer at while you wait, but apparently that's too scary for pandemic times, yet we can pack the restaurant shoulder to shoulder. Bring the beer garden back! Those who are scared can still sit in their car and wait. *Shrug* Oh well still not worth taking a star off for.
I just ordered through Doordarshan, and who ever prepared my apple brie burger understands good food. I actually literally got a little choked up eating it. it was beautifully packaged and presented it was tender the flavors were incredible. I love good food and this was hands down the best burger I have ever eaten. Thank you for understanding the beauty of food.
So Wilderness is the best brewery in Arizona, and one of the best restaurants as well. Their beers taste so fresh and are often made from local in-season ingredients. Very few places put as much care and compassion into both their food and ales. Sure, you may sit at a picnic table, but it is a scratch kitchen and they use mostly local sources for their recipes. Any place that goes to the trouble to make their own ketchup deserves a visit.
