Very, very pleased with this emergency vet. What could have been a fatal illness tuned into emergency surgery and an overnight stay for my bully. They were able to get her in and taken care of quickly. They have an estimated range for the cost of care, and accept multiple options for payment, including ScratchPay and CareCredit. They updated us that night, and also the next morning. Would highly recommend them.

I just had to put my dog down today, the staff was very nice, Dr. Larson was outstanding euthanizing my dog. Just want to thank them for the hard work they do with how big of a shortage there is for vets.

This is a long time coming. Sumner vets cared for my Beagle, Missy, when no one else could. She was 16 when she passed in April 2021. They didn’t try to extend her life. Logically I knew that it was the end. But, for the first time in our lives we had the money to “fix anything” after selling a house. I was prepared to drop all the money we made on a house to save my heart dog. The vet sat with me and reasoned with me that no amount of money can “fix” her. She will continue to deteriorate, like we all do when we get old. He didn’t refused to take my money, because it’s still a business, but he spoke about quality of life, time, how SHE felt or was going to feel, and how the dog who LOVES snacks didn’t take anyone out to get to French fries.

My girl was my heart. But the staff at this hospital helped me make the right decision at the right time. I could never be more grateful or more thankful for them in counseling me in the way I counsel my own clients. I will be forever grateful to them for their kindness, compassion, and love.

We have only had positive experiences with Sumner Vet and are so thankful for their friendly and helpful staff. Our dog sees Dr.K for regular check ups. Dr. K is wonderful, he is thorough and thoughtful and made himself available via email when I had questions. We have unfortunately had to bring our dog in twice for potential emergency surgery. While the wait times can be long, the staff is responsive and understanding. Our dog was in great hands while in emergency care.
