I went here to see a temporary exhibit by Arizona Highways photographer Kerrick James which was absolutely stunning. This was a retrospective of a lot of his work you have probably seen in Arizona Highways or other publications, many printed in very large formats suitable to be a great focal point in any room. We also enjoyed the rest of the exhibits. Great experience. Easy to find on the southwest corner of Elliot and Gilbert roads. Enter from Elliot Road.
It's a historical museum to some, but to me it was my 5th grade classroom. A great place to learn about the history of Gilbert, AZ.
This is a fun place to visit. It's a small museum. They have alot of nostalgic things from Gilbert's past hundred years. And some old fashioned quilters.
Me and my boyfriend were just here very cool old school that they reused for a museum. Under ground is a train exhibit that was very cool and took someone a long time and I don't think they're done. In the front and back are very eye catching old cars. We loved our experience and the people were very nice.
The Gilbert historical museum is an amazing place. It's the oldest building in Gilbert and it's on the list of historic sites. For being built in 19 13 as an elementary school it was far ahead of its time. When you get a chance stop by it's a nice place to spend a couple of hours learning about the history of Gilbert.
