Camelback Community Church

I've been attending this church for 4+ years. Uts perfect for my family and I. Great volunteer opportunities and small Bible study groups.

We primarily come here for the Celebrate Recovery on Thursdays. Its small but steadily growing. We assist with the food ministry. Godly people trying to let God fix broken and twisted aspects of our lives.

The people are what make it great: warm and receptive. The service was great. The sermon was about today's life issues, not the same generic repetitive stuff I was used to.

My boyfriend and i just started going to church in January after not going for years, and we tried this place, because they had few but great reviews. We have gone back every Sunday since the Beginning of January, and we both were baptized here :) We have felt welcome here from the start. Everyone is so friendly, and I love that they make everyone feel accepted as they are. You dont have to dress special (unless you want to). I think Pastor Karen said something like God cares about your soul, not your clothing. I just love it here already, and If you are looking for a new place, even if you are on the edge about believing in God, this is the place for you.

This is my second home. I love this church. I can't believe this was a hidden gem in the community I grew up in. For those reading this post the chains on my life have been broken, I've been forgiven, and set free. Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords. King of kings. Thanks CCC for making that clear to me and my family. Love you guys.
