MAD Performance

I thought I had to get new fuel injectors on my 1996 7.3 diesel. My truck kept cutting out even while going 60 mph! Mikel said the Ford injectors were about $325 each. Do the math and I am looking at $3 k!!!! After he diagnosed, he found that I had a $50 camshaft sensor gone bad. He fixed it and I went on my 1350 mi trip without a glitch! Better mpg at 18 and the transmission shifted so much smoother. He is such a young gentleman and one hell-of- a diesel mechanic.

A few months ago I purchased a vehicle with the dreaded 6.0L Ford Diesel engine, pre-2007, which are basically the ones you need to have bulletproofed. I took the vehicle to my normal mechanic (doesn't normally work on diesel) provided a honey do list of all things he thought were wrong with it. I family friend told me they had a friend that specializes in the 6L Ford engine to get a second opinion. Michael at MAD Performance took the vehicle for 24 hours and tested everything. It turned out that what my original mechanic thought the problems were, was not even close. Michael provided a list of the things from cheapest complete repair all the way up to full make over and bulletproofing. The cost was also over a thousand dollars less then two other places I received quotes from. The vehicle runs like a champ and I will be going back to him next year to finish the bullet proof process with getting the head gaskets done. A+ work and service. He did have my vehicle longer than I was used to for other repairs but it was well worth it. I have never had another mechanic take the time and care that Michael did. Thank you MAD Performance!

This guy is a great mechanic. He is honest. He fair. He is educated. He is my go to guy. He takes his time but it's to make sure it's done right. If u have a diesel he will do it for thousands and I mean thousands less than any body I could find. He is the real deal.

I bought a 05 powerstroke that had a no crank,
I got it to crank but the truck had been sitting over a year and I couldn’t get it to start.
So I brought it too Mikael at Mad Performance, he had the truck running with in 30 minutes! He then proceeded to check out many other things on the truck to make sure it was all healthy, he spent like another hour checking some sensors/valves, and a bunch of values on the scanner.
Very knowledgeable about everything.
The service was amazing, and my truck DROVE out of the shop, good feeling.
Definitely would recommend if you have a truck that needs a little or a lot of love.
MAD will get you taken care of right, and won’t screw you like some other shops might.

I’m a small car dealer. For the most part I know my cars, what to buy, what’s wrong, how to fix, what to fix etc.

When it comes to diesels I know just a tad. Other than the little bit of checking to make sure the truck ain’t blown or some bs I don’t know much more than that. One of the first diesel trucks I bought to resell was a nice 2008 Ford F-250 (pic is in my own Google Profile/Reviews) and it had the dreaded Ford 6.0 that almost everyone hates. That resulted in me getting an amazing deal on at the auction. Sounded great when I checked it out then. With the low miles (for a diesel) Only 180k I thought I was golden and got lucky. Just figured No Interest because of the 6.0 hell I was the only one bidding almost. Got the truck for less than HALF of what it was booking at.

Well drive it off the auction lot and noticed it’s issue right off the back. As a dealer we normally have connections for our needs but I didn’t have anyone for diesel. After a bit of looking around I came across MAD Performance. I had a brief conversation with him and he already told me what the issue was etc. Feeling confident I dropped off the truck. He got
Into and and after a few days showed me the problem and recommended a few things (NO not an up sell) that I should take care of while he was inside the part of the engine he was. One who actually brought his own diesel mechanic (another shop I think) That mechanic was checking it out (physically and with the obd diagnostic) and he asked me who did the work on the truck and let him know it was MAD Performance. That mechanic knew right off the back who it was and had nothing but good things to say about him and his company. Yes that was said by a potential competitor and rival mechanic. So you know MAD Performance is nothing but top notch. He gave me a good price on the work They. Feeling even more confident because of this other mechanics praises, I continue to use MAD Performance to this day.

That truck ended up making me a whopping profit of OVER $6000. Which is amazing. No the customer wasn’t “ripped” off. It was a combination of the price paid for the truck(remember I said paid less than half of what it booked at) and of course the great work MAD Performance did at an amazing price.
