I had a injection in my back for a sciatica. On the third day I woke to inclediable pain. Called to ask for pills just for the weekend. I planned to do extremely low activity for the 5 days after this procedure. I'm amazed just learning that they did not offer a prescription, only because I expected that once it was done, over the counter medications, would be enough. I was very ignorant going into this procedure. The bright side oh my story is that the staff made me very comfortable at the time. Please forgive me if this is punctuated or written poorly I just wanted to get this info out there if you're going to have a procedure regarding a shot into your sciatica please ask your doctor for a pain prescription after the fact because you will need it an over the counter medication might make a difference but a prescription painkiller would definitely help.
