This is a seat yourself place. Service was so-so but I think it may have been a staffing issue, so not their fault. Decent selection of draft beers. If you text a code you get your first pint for $2. Ordered the fried pickles, pretty tasty and the ranch was delicious. Ordered the brussel sprouts and it has beer cheese drizzled on it. Pretty fantastic. I ordered the pesto mac n cheese with sausage. The portion was huge and probably my new favorite meal. We ordered the spicy gorgonzola burger and fries. It was super spicy, not a frozen pattie, flavorful. Fries were crispy. The beer was cold. Only complaint is the table was wobbly (we went to two different tables) and the floors were pretty sticky everywhere. Definitely go for the food. I look forward to trying something else on the menu.
Do you like food? Do you like beer? If you like either of these then you won't be disappointed by their own beers, their collabs but while you're having some amazing beers their food menu is unlike any brewery we've been to. Have kids???? Bring em and make sure you feed them Throne's lineup of Mac and cheeses . I let the host pick mine and as you'll see by the photo it was as amazing as it looks.
We've been here 3 times now and every time we've been greeted by pretty much everyone else that was in there. It was like a 'Cheers' bar that I never had. Foods great, beer is amazing and the fellow customers are always awesome. Even though it's a drive for us we're going to be frequenting TBC.
Atmosphere and brews were great! Garlic fries are a must. Stay away from the chicken tenders. They were way over breaded and over cooked. The Cider POG is super delicious!
I moved to Peoria and have been looking for a place to get good food and flights of beer. I think I've found the spot. I enjoyed the beer as they have a good variety of styles.
We ordered a app sampler with Onion Rings, Garlic Basil Fries and the Brussel Sprouts. All were good but the Garlic Basil Fries could have had a little more seasoning.
My fiancé had the Grilled Cheese that she was craving. She mentioned the only thing that would have made it better is a couple of slices of meat like ham. Her Fried Pickle Chips surprised both of us since we do not normally like them. She cleared her basket and I was happy stealing a couple. The were thin and crispy unlike others we've tried elsewhere.
I had the Philly Cheesesteak. It's not a "Philly" cheesesteak but was a very good cheesesteak and that's ok. The pretzel roll was soft and chewy, great cheesesteak texture, the meat was strips of steak and were tender. The flavors worked well together and the veg was not overcooked.
I will definitely be going back and bringing friends.
