Wheaton McClanathan - Bagpiper

I was completely ignorant about what was customary at a funeral and we certainly didn't know anything about the timing or order of the military burial; we just knew we wanted bagpipes. Wheaton was experienced, friendly, professional and we had nothing to worry about when we placed it in his capable hands. Thank you so much Wheaton for making my dad's send-off extra special!

I have been a piping student of Wheaton's for approximately 3 months and have been having an incredible time studying the pipes under him. His approach to teaching has been very tailored to me and my goals specifically unlike many other instructors, both in music and other fields, who try to use a "one size fits all" approach. He is always very personable and attentive at every lesson and he's also been extremely accommodating of my awkward schedule as a paramedic. Learning the pipes can seem like a tricky and daunting task when first starting out but I feel I have had great success under his tutelage and, while I have a long road ahead to being performance-ready, I know I picked a great instructor to help get me there.

Wheaton performed at my grandmother’s funeral and was amazing. He showed up early and was very professional. I highly recommend him.
