(February 28, 2019, 10:57 am)GCC is a diverse and including campus. There are many teachers that go above and beyond their job responsibilities. These teachers really make the campus worth attending. I highly recommend using rate my professor and ask around to find the best teachers. On the flip-side there are some teachers that I would never recommend taking. The campus itself is very clean and easy to navigate. The size is smaller than Universities leading to an ease of transition to college life. The one thing the college can improve on is the lack of a defined student culture. The focus on clubs and student driven activities seem to be lacking compared to other campuses. Overall The campus is a very good and a great College to begin your education career!
(January 14, 2019, 6:49 pm)I don't start class until tomorrow so this review is solely based off my experience as a veteran with the veteran center staff. I am blown away with how quick they got me certified for my first enrollment with GCC. I just went in last week to turn in my dd214 and request cert and I already have my book stipend pending in my account. I transferred in from a school in Texas where I would wait 30 days AFTER requesting certification before they even submitted it to the VA and then waiting forever for the VA to process so I was expecting to wait a month. They also took the time to help me get the necessary documents to get resident tuition rates so I wouldn't have to come out of pocket being new to AZ. Highly impressed with their efficiency and how knowledgeable they were definitely took a weight off my shoulders
