Lisa Mendoza is absolutely amazing! I was referred by a close family friend of 12 years to her and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had a therapist of almost 15 years that I went consecutively to for 9 years and then on and off for 6, but he wasn’t able to dedicate the time I needed to address the traumatic events in my life that were unfolding. Let me say, Lisa had some big shoes to fill and I cannot stress this enough; she laced those bad boys up and marched in them.
In the almost 2 months I have been seeing her, she has helped me immensely, especially with today’s session in which I feel we had a breakthrough to conquer the anxiety I have been experiencing due to the trauma I have gone through recently. She is kind, knowledgeable and patient. The sense of ease and safety I have felt with her is immeasurable; I felt like I have known her my entire life. The amount of support and guidance she has given to me is helping me through some of the most difficult times of my life.
