Brooksby Assisted Living

I didn’t have much interaction with his wife. Peter I had many dealings with. He is truly a special soul. There is no doubt what-so-ever that he truly loves his people. There was never a doubt that we had left our dad in the best hands possible. Other than the hands he’s in now. Peter goes above and beyond to make sure that his people have the best and happiest quality of life possible for them. Thank you so so much Peter. You are most certainly a God send. Peter and Catherine at Brooksby Assisted Living has indeed been an answer to this families prayers. Our mother had been at 2 other facilities prior and I won't mention their names. But on unannounced visits found a filthy toilet that we ourselves cleaned, and our mother had been left, seemingly forgotten in her room for hours until she was wheeled into the dining room and back again. My neice, who is a hospice nurse visited my mother at the 2nd facility and found that some of her meds were unaccounted for, among other things...
Now back to Brooksby!🥰 When our mother arrived there, she was a bit weak, quite overweight, I would also say somewhat depressed. Catherine and Peter prepared healthy meals, using mostly fresh fruits and vegetables that could be pureed since mom chokes easily. With their healthy meals, our mother not only lost weight, but she thrives, and she looks so much healthier!! Peter and Catherine also maintain a very pleasant, HIGHLY SECURE, clean and sanitary environment. They are in a gated community, so it looks like you're visiting a loved one in their own home. But inside it's very open. And they have a nice, private little covered patio for some fresh air, or an outside visit. They are also across from a nice park for larger family visits / picnics. There's a part of me, the selfish part that didn't want to write this review.... That's because our family loves Peter and Catherine and want to keep them for our mother and family alone. We look at them as part of the family. Why? Our mother will be 99 years old on December 31, and we know that it's because of the excellent care and attention that they give her. They truely are a blessing to this family, and could be to yours too. They're absolutely wonderfui!!

My Mother has been with Brooksby Assisted Living for going on 3 years and thanks to the tender, loving care that she receives she will be celebrating her 99th birthday in December. We had her in another assisted living facility for about 5 years and she is much healthier now than she’s been in years. It is SO pleasant and clean at Brooksby and they are very attentive to her needs. We LOVE Peter and Catherine. They are the BEST!!
