East Mesa School of Guitar

This is a great place to learn Guitar! Fred has been very helpful and relational in his efforts of teaching me how to play the guitar. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable as well. While I still have more to learn, I learned how to play chords and songs in about 6 months!

Ty is a great teacher! The lessons are tailored specifically for each individual, focusing on the student's current challenges and teaching new techniques and ideas. I have been playing guitar for 10+ years and hit one of those endless plateaus in my skill advancement that all guitarists know about. The improvement that I've had in the two months or so that I've been working with Ty have been incredible. I would highly recommend East Mesa School of Guitar to anyone!

I have been with East Mesa School of Guitar for going on five years. Ty is an amazing guitarist and instructor. I look forward to each and every class. My guitar playing has improved by amazing amounts due to his coaching (and of course my practice) :) listen to him and his group and you will become the guitest you have wanted to be!

I've played guitar both professionally and for enjoyment for 30 years and have had numerous guitar teachers over the years. I can honestly say that East Mesa School of Guitar has given the best lessons I've ever had. They are really tailored to my playing goals and helping me improve in specific areas that need improvement. They provide audio recordings of my lessons each week, tab and charts, and even a weekly practice schedule all online for easy access. Besides that, owner / instructor Ty is just a really cool guy who is encouraging and makes learning fun. Acoustic or electric, pretty much any style you play, I think East Mesa School of Guitar is the best place to go.
