(December 7, 2021, 6:00 pm)The instructor here is amazing! Sensei Tangeman is not only a tremendous athlete and martial artist himself, but he knows how to get the best out of his students! Definitely give this a try!

Great for exercise, sport, self defence; students are encouraged but not required to enter tournaments which is great for those that want to actually protect themselves when needed. It's also a great place for kids to learn discipline while having fun.
(February 24, 2020, 5:24 pm)We tried a different karate studio before coming here and there was no question that this school was far better than the first one. Classes are taught by the sensei who is very patient and supportive, while expecting focus and discipline. I have never once heard him tell a student they were doing a move wrong, but only offering encouragement and a demonstration of the right way to do it. My son loves it here and I have never seen him more proud of himself than when he got his yellow belt. I highly recommend this school.
(April 23, 2014, 11:11 pm)We have had our daughters in the DePalma's school for over 2 years now. We have been so pleased with their experience and their instructors. We have seen our girls' confidence grow exponentially in the time they have been involved in the programs offered through DePalma's. The classes are fun for the kids, yet still challenging and beneficial both physically and mentally. The sparring classes are monitored closely to make sure the kids are using their fighting skills properly and getting the most out of the experience. Self defense techniques are taught in all of the classes and have allowed my daughters to understand the strength of their voice, their actions and how they should be reacting in questionable situations with strangers. The regular testing and exams help to boost the kids' confidence and promotes a sense of personal achievement in the students. We all love it! We highly recommend the DePalma's Team USA Martial Arts program for anyone that is considering karate for their child. You won't regret it. :)
