I injured my right thumb and was referred to Miranda Materi, certified hand therapist. I called for an appointment and was seen the very next day. I arrived early and she was ready to see me before my appointment time.
She fabricated me a custom splint in no time at all, explained everything thoroughly and provided me with everything I need to return to normal function. Miranda was personable, informative and my visit was efficient. Her experience and clinical knowledge is second to none. Thank you for your excellent work.

I had a horrific fall fracturing my left wrist which could only be repaired through surgery. I’m an aging athlete and guitar player and was devastated. My surgeon referred me to Hand Therapy Partners for occupational therapy. Having been to physical therapy in the past, I was dreading the process. I went to the Mesa location. I had the opportunity to work with Miranda and her team. The care and encouragement I received was amazing. I wasn’t just a number. If I needed to be there beyond my appointment, the therapists would continue to work with me. I was never rushed out the door. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I may have been in pain, but they always had me laughing and motivated me throughout my recovery. The goal was to reach “functional” range of motion. I am happy to report that in just a few months, I have “full” range of motion back.
