Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital

I was lucky enough to find AZ Exotic Animal Hospital when I suspected that my Ferret had an intestinal blockage. They were able to see him quickly and successfully performed the surgery that saved my little friends life. My Ferret had a perfect recovery and he is back to being his happy, crazy self, all thanks to the wonderful work they did. Everyone was so knowledgable, friendly and professional, and you could tell that they were genuinely passionate about what they did. This is an outstanding place and I can’t recommend it enough!

I was leaving to Boston and had to board my sweet piggie boy for 8 days. They took a great care of him and left me without any worries at all as they’re all skillful, funny and friendly yet the hospital was really clean and pleasant and that what made me totally comfortable to have my boy there.

The moment I walked into Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital on 19th Ave I felt very comfort bringing in my little Lola. The waiting room is clean and the front office staff was very pleasant. Once we were in an exam room we were greeted by a friendly tech asking all sort of question regarding Lola. It was nice knowing she was taking time to get to know us and Lola. When Dr. Lamb came in, she was nice and comforting regarding the information that was passed to her from the tech which implies there is great communication between the Dr. and staff. She took her time examining Lola explaining everything along the way and the possible issues regarding hedgehogs. She answered all my questions from food to her having mites. Ugh!!!! It was nice to know that we weren't rushed in and out. Why was this so important? I am a dental office manager and find Dr. patient communication very important and this office has it. Would I recommend Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

We have two guinea pigs and a hamster that go to the Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital and they have been amazing! We have always been able to get an appointment in a timely manner, we are seen promptly and taken care of very well. I have always received top notch medical advise, which is extremely hard to find for these small animals. I loved that they asked us questions about their cage and what they were fed because it shows that they care about each patient having good husbandry with their pets. When I wasn't doing something correctly they gently advised of a better way. It is quite a drive for us to go here, but we will gladly make the trek with how knowledgeable and kind they are with us and our beloved fur babies.

I've been taking my pets here for years. The doctors are compassionate about the animals they see. Whenever I take my pets here I get supplemental information that really helps me take the best care of my pets. I've taken my bearded dragon, rats (when I had them) and recently my parrot. Every animal is treated with respect and handled carefully. They really love to see every pet that comes through the door.
