  The nurses and staff in the San Tan unit are fantastic. They have taken great care of my mother-in-law (J. Bryant). It's hard to pick one employee over another, but Angela (RN) is a Rock Star. Great attitude and sense of humor. Administration and case workers have been very supportive also.

  I spent six months in Montecito recovering after acute COVID infection. When I arrived, I was on a ventilator and couldn't move or talk. The daily nurses were very nice and very helpful. The specialized wound nurses really took special care of me.
  
  I was able to get respiratory therapy to get off the ventilator and breathe on my own. I received speech therapy to be able to talk and eat solid food. The physical and occupational therapists worked with me every day, even when I really wanted to just sleep. Eventually, they helped me to be able to sit up, then stand up, and finally to walk with a walker. Once I could move and function enough to cover my personal needs, I was released.
  
  Since then, I've been able to walk on my own, resume normal activities, and even travel overseas. I definitely wouldn't have survived without Montecito. I'm very grateful for their help.

  This is from one of the patients there that I helped them post a review! "I have loved being at Montecito! Due to some of my conditions, I’ve had to spend several years in and out of different facilities and I can honestly say that the nursing staff here are top-notch! I love my girls (on the Santan Unit). Whenever I see them it just brightens up my day. Some of my conditions will last for a lifetime, but so will some of these friendships. I love these people and this place!"

  I’ve been to a couple different nursing facilities over the last couple of years in this place has by far been the best! I felt like the other facilities felt like dark dungeons, but this place is pretty nice to be honest with you. The lighting is good and the housekeepers keep this place clean. The nursing staff are really friendly and aren’t above taking a couple jokes. They’re just good people. And the foods not too bad here. Now this place isn’t the Ritz Carlton but as far as nursing facilities go, it’s definitely the best one that I’ve been to here in the Phoenix/Mesa area. I’d never go anywhere else.

  We definitely would recommend Montecito. Even though the building is old, it was in relatively good shape. What stood out to us was the staff. They are very competent, very attentive and genuinely care about your well being. Very pleasant. There were a couple times we had to wait a little bit longer than we would have liked, but overall we are very pleased with Monticeto. Jay and his staff went out of their way to make sure any concerns we had were taken care of quickly.
