Honestly, one of the best medical professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. Dr. Sturgill was very knowledgeable patient with my questions and told me all about why they were testing for certain symptoms that could impair vision loss or cause headaches (since I work at the screen a lot, I experience a lot of eye strain). And let me tell you, I had NO shortage of questions! If it’s your first eye exam ever (like it was for me) or if you’ve ever had a bad experience with another optometrist, go to Dr. Sturgill. He is by far my favorite Dr to see now and I actually look forward to it! Despite the near 45 min to an hour drive for me, it’s all worth it!

Dr. Sturgill & Dr. Merrill provide incredible exams! Both trained locally and continue this high quality of care here. It’s great having them in Mesa, and my family & friends near Superstition/Apache continue to have wonderful care & proximity to this nearby practice.

I saw Dr. Sturgill recently. The exam was incredibly thorough. Dr. Sturgill explained everything to me in detail. I had been having headaches, and Dr. Sturgill corrected my glasses and contact prescription. I haven’t had any eye strain since. I highly recommend Dr. Sturgill for any and all of your eye care needs!

Dr Sturgill is an excellent provider and someone I enjoy seeing. He is personable, thorough and knowledgeable. He answers my questions clearly and uses terms I understand. I never have anything but a top shelf experience when I’m in his office. I highly recommend him.
