Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Gilbert

I love southern food and it’s not easy to find, here in the desert southwest. We have visited Walk-On’s twice in the last two weeks. My husband and I shared the red beans and rice and the Boom Boom Shrimp PoBoy with waffle fries. Yesterday we had the Adult Grilled Cheese with onion rings. My dad had the catfish and thought it was quite tasty. I love all the food but the waffle fries. No one at our table cared for the fries. We’ll definitely be back there, soon, and we’ll just be sure to sub the waffle fries for something else. My husband and I agree that the pricing is good and the portions are large. I had a Tito’s Vodka drink, during non-hour times, and it was only $7.

Fantastic food! The burgers were dripping goodness! Make sure you ask for extra napkins cuz they will be dropping down your elbows in a good way! I had the waffle cheese fries for appetizer and it was great. Service was prompt and attentive. Changed the TV for us to watch the game we wanted. We will definitely be back!

First time trying this place out. Went for lunch, didn't really know what to expect. It's a sports bar atmosphere with lots of TVs. I wasn't super hungry so I wanted a smaller meal, tried the sliders. The spicy chicken was not impressive at all, but palatable. The BBQ shredded pork however was delicious! I'd get the normal size next time for sure. Waffle fries were seasoned. The hush puppies were a good size and cooked golden, served with butter. I thought they were pretty good!

Pretty good food, really big portions. Not sure I would call this "authentic cajun" but still some good stuff on the menu. Service was pretty good but slow, hence the 4 stars review. They weren't busy when we were there. All in all, I'd go back with a group of friends.

This Sports Bistreaux Is Amazing, The Service Sheryl Gave Us Was Amazing She Went Above And Beyond For us while we was there ! I got the chicken tenders & waffle fries , the chicken tenders was very crispy and juicy Freshly made perfect and Hot , the Spinach artichoke Was Very Good cheese and was seasoned also. The chips was homemade chips also hot and soft to the bite ! Definitely will be coming back here For More Thank You .
