(August 20, 2020, 6:34 am)The heart welcoming staff of Dance FX, their love, patience to teach and all of their support made me give dancing a chance. At the beginning of my journey, there was a combination of mixed emotions making me doubt my ability on the dance floor. Continuously, the instructors of Dance FX (Taloa, Jessica, and Sierra ) made me feel comfortable on the dance floor by always expressing their support and acknowledging my progress.
Be ready to see impressive results and understand the meaning behind social dancing while having fun!
(August 7, 2020, 11:20 am)We have had a wonderful experience at Dance FX. We wanted a fun, upbeat dance for our first dance at our wedding, and they have totally delivered. We primarily have worked with Taloa and Sierra, who have both been extremely professional and personable. Their broad knowledge of dance is apparent. They are patient with new dancers and willing to adjust dances to the level of the learner. We intend to continue our lessons beyond our wedding because we have been so satisfied with the experience! Would highly recommend!
(July 16, 2020, 11:58 pm)For years I put off dancing because I was too shy, embarrassed and dreadfully uncoordinated. Dance FX was and still is the fulcrum that allowed me to change that.
My one-on-one instruction sessions with Sierra helped transform my outlook and overall enjoyment of dancing due to her calm, understanding and patient demeanor. It was thanks to her that my slight interest in dancing has become a passion of mine that I love to share with others.
On the other hand, Taloa's teaching methods may seem chaotic at first with the stopping and going, the abrupt changes in the tasks at hand but after a few lessons I quickly realized that she's a master of getting me out of my own head. Her teaching techniques quickly had me becoming more fluid and natural throughout our dances.
Regardless of the instructor I always have a great time from the moment I walk through the doors till well after I leave with endless smiles and laughing. The professional instructors at Dance FX makes practicing and learning like a vacation for me in which all the stresses of work and day-to-day life just melt away with the added benefit of learning an important lifelong social skill. The dance lessons here are by far money and time well spent.
(June 30, 2020, 2:44 pm)My wife and I started taking dance lessons here. Neither one of have ever taken any lessons before. We have been having a great time. Our dance instructor Jessica makes the lessons fun and easy. We look forward to learning new steps and dances each week. Jessica makes a strong effort to personalize the experience and create an inviting environment. We are very happy with Dance FX and will be coming back for more lessons.
(January 26, 2017, 1:12 pm)When we came to Dance FX, we needed help. As a woman, typically when a guy wants to dance with you, he is still unsure on the floor, so we women learn to lead. So yes, I was a lead, that now had to be taught to follow (because guys, you're actually supposed to lead instead of sitting on the sidelines). As for my fiance, now husband, he wanted to be able to dance to make the night magical for us.... knowing very well that he could not dance on his best day. Don't wince! He freely admits this was the hardest thing he has ever done. But Bree and the staff at Dance FX had so much patience with us and they stood the test of time and frustrations. We can't say enough. It wasn't easy , but you should have seen his smile when we finished the dance. Standing ovation!
