Stunning scenery and pretty intermediate hike. Highly recommend if you love to hike. Just beware of the bees
Great "intermediate" hike! The scenery is also fantastic! Oh, just watch out for all the bees in the cave! Seriously... Lots of bees!
A great hike! Not too hard and if you can bring your family pretty easily. We saw a lot of kids when we went up. At the top it wasn't too windy when I went but I would assume by the name that is more of a rarity. There is also a sign that says hike at your own risk beyond this point that is right next to the wind Cave. Don't know what is beyond that though.
Unique hike.. the cave was more like a hideout spot but it was nice to do a 3 miles hike.
There was a $7 entrance fee for the car, but I think that helped keep away the crowds (and the clean bathroom with soap made the fee worth it!) Trail was easy enough for all of our boys (youngest is 4.) The bee hives in the rock at the end was very cool, but I would stay away if you have a bee sting allergy!
