Sailboat Shop

My wife completed the ASA101 in Oct 2019 with the Sailboat Shop, and today she aced the ASA103. Theory was turned into good practice under Steve Schenkel’s instructions. Thanks to Tom Erickson for running a professional business with highly experienced instructors. An A++ experience.

I had a great time sailing with captain Emory Heisler. I finished the knowledge and practical for ASA 101 and then 103 and 104 in a weekend with overnight to Catalina Island. I highly recommend cptn Heisler who made it one of the best guy getaway weekends from shopping to provision the boat to all the time at the wheel. I look forward to chartering more with the Sailboat Shop at Lake Pleasant as well.

Took the ASA 103-104 with Emory. He's a great instructor!!! Course was well organized, he was patient, knowledgeable and added personal stories to make the trip excellent!!!! Definitely recommend getting your certifications with these guys!!!

I have received my ASA 101, 103 & 104 thru the Sailboat shop. I have a great experience with everyone at the shop. The classes were conducted in a professional manner with enough humor to help assimilate some of the new and strange things you end up learning to become proficient as a sailor. :-) The rentals thru Tom at the Sailboat shop have also been very user friendly!
