  So many great trails to discover. The Discovery Center has some amazing historical facts for my kids to learn about Lake Pleasant. My favorite part was seeing the artifacts that were found there. We learned alot today. My kids loved the park the best.

  The Visitor Center lot is very ample and has lot of space, so you don't have to worry about parking during rush hour times. The restrooms are also very clean and well--maintained!
  From the Visitor Center, you can take a concrete path down that eventually becomes a sand/rocky trail (Roadrunner Trail), and this will bring you pretty close to the lake so you can get a close-up view. It's a do-able short path, but bear in mind, it does branch off at certain spots so make sure to stay on the main path so you don't get confused. :)

  Lake pleasant picnic spots are a great way to spend a few hours with friends and family. The view is spectacular and there are also many water sport rentals available nearby if you like that. Will definitely go back again
