Nice park. Has a basketball court, tennis court and good sized playground. Also has bathrooms and a nice walking path that goes over the whole park. It was so clean that while we were there, the park ranger threw away our metal waterbottles because we left them unattended.

My little crew and I often frequent this park! Apache Park has been a go-to for our homeschooling fam. The park has 1 huge older kid playground - with fun slides!! The park also has a smaller young kid's playground. Both playgrounds are well shaded! Unfortunately, the swings and obstacle course are not shaded. Here are our likes and dislikes in a nut shell:

    Likes:
    - The park consists of: 2 playgrounds, 1 obstacle course, swings, 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, and open green space. The park truly does accommodate for many interests and activities.
    - The parking lot is close enough yet not too close to cause anxiety. Mom's of littles have a bit of a buffer between the areas, so our toddlers and kids don't step completely into traffic.
    - The park is mostly clean. People seem to take care of the area and clean up after themselves. With that said, I've never had to encounter an ant problem or a bee problem! Yay! **knocks on wood. I have a strong allergic reaction to bees where I have a prescribed epi pen. So naturally, I get nervous around Bees. I absolutely love that out of the past 6 years of visiting this park, we've never encountered a bee issue! **unlike Paloma park.
    - Restroom location is close enough to all of the park amenities.
    - The slides at the older kids' playground are amazing! My littles love playing tag on that entire equipment. Heck, it even brings out my inner child from back in the day! 😄 🤣

    Dislikes:
    - There are not enough ramadas or covered seating for parents/guardians near the playground.
    - The restrooms are decently located but would benefit from better cleaning care. The restrooms are so dark and most often dirty. If you're thinking, "Well, it's a public park, what did you expect?". Here's my answer, It's possible to have a well maintained park restroom that has more natural light to accommodate the ability to see better. **Other parks that have great restrooms are as: Veramonte Park, Paloma Park, Doc Cavalier Park, and Fountain Hills park.

My little ones and I LOVE this park!
No sand, there's wood chips! There are two playground areas, one for smaller children and one for older children which is great. I also love that there's young teens who still come here to play and enjoy the last moments of their youth....
There's also tennis courts, a volleyball net and basketball court. Great park, check it out!

Great park in a quiet neighborhood. A large and small playground with large and small swings. Tennis courts, basketball courts, and picnic tables nearby.

AMAZING PLAYGROUND!!!!! There's like 7 or 8 slides. We love to bring our 3 year old here to play. There's usually a large amount of friendly kids playing to keep the kiddo entertained. They have shaded seating, tennis court, basketball court, convenient bathroom and fields. Right next to a school. AWESOME!
