Skin & Makeup Institute

I tried out the Skin and Make Up Institute today (Jan 29th, 2022). Jessica was amazing! I had the European Facial, Designer brow wax and eyebrow tint. I have never had such a wonderful experience anywhere else. I was so relaxed… I even fell asleep… which never happens. Thank you for a great experience! I’ll be back!!!

One of the BEST decisions that I had ever made in my life! My education and hands-on learning experience here at SMI were beyond my expectations in every aspects of my journey during my 600 hours of Aesthetics. I learned so much from each one of my instructors throughout my 9 month-program, they each had their own style of teaching, they were also all open to any questions I had in mind, and definitely accommodated to every single need of mine to ensure that I had comprehended all that was expected of me as well. I studied plenty for all my quizzes and exams, I did extremely well. I observed closely from all my instructors during theory and demonstrations in all that I could in every session along the way. I got the best education that I needed for the amount that I paid for, SO WORTH IT! I WOULD DO IT ALL AGAIN, in fact. Jackie has changed and still is changing the history and the lives of all students, many whom come across her know she is excellent and gives so much of herself to make sure that we are prepare for the beauty world and I take pride in knowing her. She is kind, compassion, strong, and most of all honest too. She has prepared me for the real world of aesthetics, and I am forever thankful for her time invested in my education and her time correcting me as I needed that because I only want to do better, be better, and know better. You get what you put in, and exactly what I got, nothing but greatness and I’m beyond excited for my future once I get my provisional/state license of AZ -I know I will go very far in this world. My passion has only begun, and I know there is more to come, I am so ready to learn more and keep taking ongoing educational classes as there is more to become certified in as well as do and gain even more knowledge under my belt to service/treat all areas of what this industry is all about. I’ve been a customer of the skin and makeup Institute for many years now. They take wonderful care of my skin they’re so impressive not only do the students get great instruction but their teachers and instructors are excellent you couldn’t be in better hands I highly recommend them.

I am a recent graduate from the skin and makeup institute. Let me start off by saying Mrs. Jackie’s favorite quote “You will get out as much as you put in” and that is exactly right! I went in with one goal and one goal only, to become a licensed Aesthetician. And that is exactly what I became. Along the way I made some amazing forever friends. The curriculum was just right, I knew where to find the answers if I didn’t understand something. Don’t get me wrong like anything in life I experienced some ups and downs, but thankfully the ups definitely outweighed the downs. I didn’t give up on myself, and neither did the school. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
