Lake Pleasant Village

This is a wonderful place to live. It’s in a great area with good schools. I have been here going on 6 years and have no intention of moving any time soon.

I have lived here for 7 years now and am grateful to have gotten in when I did. Other than that blessing, rent and even though it has continued to rise, still is better than the alternative options out there. It has continued to be a safe space & place that somehow I’ve managed to keep 🤞 The Lake Pleasant Village community has been just that, pleasant, it’s also quiet and maintained respectfully. All the outside renovations have been exciting, feels & looks great! The efforts being made in bettering the community, as a resident makes me feel like I matter. Maybe still just for my rent money haha but knowing I can easily be replaced with the extensive demand & long wait lists,… I’m still here, and happier not being out there! 🙃

Love living here. Great place love how quickly things get fixed and how nice the staff is😊 the community feels really safe and the grounds are kept really clean .

This is a very nice apartment complex with a lot of families. The office staff is very nice and responsive to our needs. The grounds are kept very clean. The apartments are within walking distance to the grocery stores like Bashas and Walmart. Within driving distance you are close to a lot of stores, schools and parks and there is easy access to the 101 and 303. There is a Gym on-site and nice gas BBQs by the pool. A lot of the spaces are covered which helps out a lot with cooling your car if you have to go anywhere. The units have tall ceilings and Smart thermostats to help you save on power especially in the summer. I would recommend taking a look and considering this as your next home.

I'm very honest and transparent about my experiences. The good the bad the ugly. And let me tell you, this complex - is the best kept secret of income-based housing in the West Valley. Awesome location, great school district, perfect little quiet pocket of desirable North Peoria. Since the new property management company took over, they've made some really nice improvements to the complex, including new paint to the buildings and new outdoor lighting. The units are spacious! Full laundry in unit, bring your own washer/dryer or rent theirs for an additional fee, which is very convenient.
But unfortunately, fumbled the bag on this one 👎 After residing here for 6 months, 2 of my guests broke a rule of the lease unbeknownst to me, & I was asked to vacate. Management was gracious in giving me time to leave, as I had become ill and hospitalized around the same time, which was very kind. But BE MINDFUL*, theres not much room for forgiveness when it comes to lease rules, to keep it fair - so make sure you and your guests follow them and you'll have nothing to worry about. Front office (Jen & Shelley) are knowledgeable and helpful. Jen did come off a little strong when addressing a couple issues, which may have landed me on her bad side, but those issues were addressed and we were able to move on. It's obvious she takes her job very seriously, and takes pride in what she does and I can respect that 🤝 Maintenance🔧 is very quick to respond! I moved in in the summer, and my AC unit started leaking and they were there fixing it the very next day and I hadn't had that issue again for the remainder of my time there. Had another problem with an appliance and the sink, both of which were addressed in a timely manner and they were in and out, I really appreciated that! Although, after I moved out, the ball got dropped somewhere along the way and, very long story short, the process of tying up all the loose ends took longer than it typically would have and there were a few things that we went back and forth about. But ultimately, Highmarks corporate office handled things accordingly. Janine was helpful and very patient considering the circumstances, & I greatly appreciate her professionalism and poise, in handling this situation with care and concern and being an empathic listener.
Overall, this is a gem 💎 of a complex, and run by people who truly care about it. Make sure no one breaks any rules 😆 and you'll really enjoy living here. If you can land yourself a unit, consider yourself lucky.
