“I have been the recipient of excellent bed bug infestation elimination service from Terminex at my apartment building near 3rd St and Indian School. Both my inspector Joe and my technician Armando were courteous, professional and especially important, sensitive to and supportive of me as a 72 year old going through a difficult period. The Terminex service is especially appreciated in that in an extended period of interaction with pest control compnies, only Terminex and one other company I know of were organizations that knew what they were doing and stuck with the problem until it was totally eliminated. A worst experience of my life was five months of treatment from Wagner Pest Control with the problem continuing to get worse, a company that seemed totally focused on the concept of the "more bugs the more bucks." Bob Wagner himself is one of the two most manipulative and customer toxic businesspersons I have ever met. Eventually, I, with my manager;s concent, I "86h: Wagner totally from my apartment and suppressed the problem on my own using a chemical that is no longer available. I also had very difficult experiences with a Crusher technician and with Burns, early in this phase of hyper widespread infestation, who would not listen to me when I said the bugs were going back and forth between my and my next store neighbor's apartment. Eventually I personally paid to have my and my neighbors baseboards caulked to help address the problems. Finally, I also have had very unsettling verbal interactions with reps from at least four other pest control companies. AT THE TIME OF THE LATEST INFESTATION, i miss-takeningly thought I could deal with the problem on my own -- until it became essential to report the problem -- in that the bugs in my apartment were less odious than thinking about having to deal with another incompetent or unscrupulous pest control company. Fortunately, my complex has retained Terminex and ALL IS GOOD. THANK YOU! Keep up the great work.”
