Dr. Zakhary and the staff at Southwest Breast and Aesthetics are wonderful. Dr. Zakhary is kind, thorough, and always available to answer questions. Having a cancer diagnosis is already scary, but he was able to be clear and put me at ease as I went through surgeries. I was diagnosed with stage 3c breast cancer on March 15, 2020. It was the worst news of my life. I did tons of research to find the perfect plastic surgeon and I found him in Dr. Zakhary. He is the most compassionate, understanding, honest and caring doctor I have ever met. He told me all of my options available to me and gave me the pro's and con's of each. He made it ultimately my decision but made sure that I had all the available information. He guided me and when I got scared because of the second tumor that was found he calmed me down and insisted that "I sit back relax, and let my team of doctors take care of me." At the time, going through cancer as I was, I really needed someone in my corner like Dr Zakhary and I am so glad I found him. He is the most personable Dr. I have ever had and I absolutely love love love him!!

I had breast cancer in 2018, and had total mastectomy. I decided that I finally wanted to have breast reconstruction. I had a year of emotional ups and downs and people making comments about me being flat. Dr..Zakhary made me feel comfortable and he answered all my questions and concerns. My surgery was very long, but he did an amazing job and I am beyond thankful for his expertise and patience with me. I would definitely recommend him.. He is an expert at what he does. His staff is friendly and helpful as well. I can't thank Dr.Zakhary enough for what he has done for me and my self esteem.
