The Wandering Tortoise

Finally getting to try this place after following their Instagram page after more than a year. Caught "Haze Fest" and tried a hazy from Dark Sky. It was just a short visit but was overall a good experience. Nice that they have a place to serve food next door and a good truck in the parking lot. Great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and excellent drink selection! They are next to an excellent seafood place and host an incredible food truck and allow the food in the bar. They are super dog friendly and support the dog rescue down the street from them which is a major plus! 🐾 One could easily spend a day here!! 🙌

Lots of beers on tap as well as coolers of canned beer to choose from. Frose is also available and a delightful treat on a warm evening.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking on-site but can get filled up on a busy night.

A food truck was on-site the night we visited which was an unexpected bonus.

Amazing beer bar with a focus on regional craft beer, ciders and wines. They offer beer to go in addition to 22+ taps (plus many more during special events), and will do growler fills. Almost always have food truck on hand or Nelson's next door when open! Staff is killer and always passionate about their wares. Beer lovers destination in Phoenix for sure!

Great beer in a cool space. They usually have some sort of food vendor outside and allow you to bring your own food as well. Decent outdoor seating as well as excellent indoor seating. The worst thing about this place is that the location isn't exactly easy to get to by any means but car. They have a bike rack out front though, which is nice in comparison to many other places in the valley.
