Whitton Avenue Bible Church

I absolutely Love this church. I recently moved to the Biltmore/Arcadia area and wanted to make sure that I found a church close by whos doctrine fell into my belief in God and how important he is in my life and the many wonderful blessings he has bestowed upon me. I prayed and God was once again Magnificent in his Glory and Wisdom as he lead me to Whitten Avenue Bible Church. I can't express enough the feeling of pure joy I feel when I walk through the doors of the Chapel or in the banquet hall prior to service for bagels, beverages and an opportunity to congregate with people who are there for the Glory of God and NOT because "going to church makes you a good person." They come there to be in the Lord's presence, to sing His praise and to spread the word of His Love and Grace and Forgiveness. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and I am so thrilled with the diversity in generations within the church community. There are Seniors like myself, and young families with small children. The best way for me to describe it is it's as if you've stepped back in time when children could be children and frolic safe and fearless in the courtyard of the church or the backyard of "The House" which is just that, a house next to the church that is used for functions and groups and bible study and preparing for celebrations of Gods Glory. I've only been attending for 5 weeks but I instantly felt like I belonged and that is due to this true Christian Congregation that lives with God in their lives, prays for forgiveness for their sins and asks for guidance and growth and to walk closer to God every day. You'll learn how the bible is so relevant in what we are facing today in every and all walks of life, pre and post Pandemic. If you are looking for a Community and not just a building called a church, where people are there to worship the Lord, that are filled with the Love of God and His generous loving ways and want to feel instantly welcome, the Whitton Avenue Bible Church is the place for you

The fall festival last night was very welcoming. All my kids had a great time and it was also great the have the kids feel safe and comfortable with good people around. Kudos the fellowship and everyone that helped make the event possible.

I totally love this church! It has such a wonderful mix of tiny children teenagers middle-aged and elderly. Pastor Chris is inspirational in his messages.
