  Gertrude’s is a real treat in the dessert. Four of us had lunch after a trip to the botanical gardens and left very happy indeed. The botanical inspired cocktails were a real highlight. Food could not be faulted. We shared 3 appetisers which were all delicious (if not a little large) and then a mixture of meat entrees and salads. For vegetarians this place serves great food. The waiting staff were superb and the wine they suggested was perfect for the meal and time of day.

  Beautiful location. Food was alright, but the actual highlight of the night was our busser Luis. He was kind and attentive and really devoted to giving us the best service possible. It's always refreshing to see someone who cares that much about their job. Hats off to you Luis.

  Excellent meal! We spent a lovely Mother's Day afternoon at Gertrude's. The meal was ok, but the dessert was Outstanding! Don't get too caught up in the descriptions, just order, you won't be disappointed. The lime tart was incredible, the goat cheese and beet cheesecake - Wow! Top notch service too!

  Love, love this restaurant! This is the only place I can eat truly gluten free. I had the burger and loved the bun, so I asked where they get them and now I can have good burgers at home too. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the gluten free menu. Great service on a Friday night even though they were really busy.
