“Nice big open space for dogs to roam and play. Just reopened after renovations and maintenance. Took off 1 star because they don't provide doggie bags and people do not seem to clean up after there dogs.”

“Very well maintained Park IMO. There are Maintenance people there most of the time so very few homeless people. Plenty of shade trees and they put wood chips in the playground. There are 2 Basketball courts, and they have a Cornhole game near the playground. In the Spring the parents bring their kids to play soccer.”

“I came here on a field trip for work I truly enjoyed myself. I was thinking there was gonna be more flowers but it's mainly plants and trees and such which are so beautiful! The fish are so pretty and they did have a gift shop on the way inside. Gorgeous scenery lovely spot to take pictures!!😍🤞🏽💜”

“Went for a stroll today at the Rio Salado habitat restoration park. Haven't been here for quite some time I noticed a lot of the foliage and other plants have died back. It's not quite as shady as it used to be, no doubt due to the drought we had last year. However the wild life continues on, wild birds, tortoises and more still can seek refuge here. Considering that this is Arizona where it can be extremely hot, I still think this place is quiet and beautiful.”

“Its a great park. Never over crowded... Well kept. Although this time there was a broken slide. The only thing I dont like is that the restrooms are almost always closed.”

“This is a memorial dedicated to Ernest McFarland, who was a Senator and Governor of Arizona and was the Father of the G.I. Bill. The Memorial is a nice addition to a park full of memorials, and worth a visit if you are in the park. There are some informative plaques mounted behind the arch that are worth a read and talk about the governor's legacy.”

“All Phoenix area citizens should visit this place at least once...kind of like the Grand Canyon! This place represents why you and all reading this are FREE! Oh...and it’s free. No money spent too see this place so there’s no excuse. Great military monuments of all branches and wars. But wait, there’s more. The guns of the USS Arizona and Missouri are waiting to meet you. It’s way cool to stand underneath them imagining how loud they must have sounded. Just amazing! Speaking of Navy ships: Go Navy, beat Army!⚓️????”

“Beutiful. Great place to take pictures. Excellent Pokemon Go location. Clean. Plenty of room for kids to run. In shady location downtown but they have their own police so rifraf stays away. Best to go on Sunday and it is completely empty for great pics. It is free. Downtown is mostly closed on weekends so there is no traffic.”
