Gentle Dental Deer Valley

This is by far my favorite place. I am a nervous dentist goer and the people here just have a way of making me feel better. Everyone is super nice, the front desk ladies, every dentist and assistant there. Went to a few other places before here and this place just gives off the right vibes. They actually care about you and your teeth.

Love this place the woman in the front are so nice and amazing they are fast at getting you in whenever you need help or need and appointment they make sure they get you in the Drs make me feel so comfortable and not scared to come get my treatment No pain at all I just really feel good coming and leaving gentle dental this is the best dentist iv ever come to the women dr my favorite thank you guys so much

The staff at Gentle Dental Deer Valley is consistently friendly and personable, while making sure the physical environment is clean, sanitized, and safe. My mother and I have been going here for over 2 years now, and I always feel like we’re in good hands!

I referred my boyfriend to Gental Dental, specifically requesting Brandi as his dental assistant. I worked with Brandi as a assistant at a different dental office and was completely under prepared coming out of dental school. I learned more in one month of working with Brandi than I did in a nine month Dental assisting program. Brandi showed me how to be a confident Dental Assistant and the importance of communicating and explaining dental treatment/dental maintenance to the patients, for overall longevity of dental treatment. My boyfriend had a traumatic childhood dental experience and it made him neglect his dental Hygiene and avoid Dentist all together. It has been 10 years since he has seen a dentist and has lived with mouth pain for a very long time because he was so nervous to see another dentist in fear he would have another horrible dental experience. I reassured him he was going to a trusted dental office, reccomended to me by my mentor Brandi. Brandi spoke highly of Dr. Hillary Luinstra and said my boyfriend would be well taken care and that they would do everything they can to make his experience comfortable. Brandi was excited to have this opportunity to change his mind on being anxious about dental treatment and to get him excited about the importance of dental maintenance. Derek when in for his complete exam and literally came out a different dental patient. Derek came out with light in his eyes and the biggest smile I have ever seen. He was so fired up talking about how he was going to have a new chance at getting new teeth and this time he would know how to care for them the right way. He said when he got to the office at first he was nervous because i had him get there one hour early and the receptionist wasn't welcoming. Saying
" your not supposed to be here this early " had that receptionist only known, what it took me to get my boyfriend there and even having to trick him with appointment times so he'd be there punctually rather that minutes late and have to reschedule, maybe she would have been more welcoming. After being told to leave because of covid saftey regulations and coming back Derek was called back by Brandi for his appointment. He said Brandi was so awesome bringing him back that he forgot about rude receptionist. He said he was worried about getting x-rays because he remembered that it had been uncomfortable, before he knew it he said Brandi said "that's it, all done with x-rays" he said she was so Gental and fast, he could have taken more as long as it was Brandi taking the x-rays. Brandi started telling him how she was so excited to see him in the office and how he was in great hands with Dr. Luinstra who was a fantastic Doctor to work for. Dr. Luinstra came in and was very welcoming and between Brandi and Dr. Luinstra he wondered why he hadn't been in sooner to get his dental treatment on the right path. He said he knows he has a long road ahead to getting back on the right path but he wasn't nervous anymore, rather excited and looking forward to him being able to get his smile back. I recommend Gental Dental to anyone who is nervous about Dental treatment.

All around great experience. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. The dental assistant was upbeat and caring.
Dr. Hillary was kind, professional, and gentle. I drove up from Tucson and I will gladly make the trip again to this office!
