Mayo Clinic Hospital PHX-1 Emergency Room

My husband and I can’t stop talking about our amazing experience at the Mayo ED and the needed emergency surgery. With a background in medicine, I know what good care looks like and this was it. Each and every tech, nurse and physician were amazing: Dr. Holden Leborgne in the ED and Dr. Michelle Louie in surgery really made us feel comfortable and addressed the emergent situation and subsequent surgery with ease. Top notch care! I’m thankful we landed at Mayo and will return in the future.

my Dad was diagnosed with Cushings Disease back in 2018.

We had an appointment with the Surgeon at the Mayo Clinic but unfortunately his condition had worsen and we had to take him to the ER instead.
The ER Staff was very kind and they made sure to keep him comfortable.

My Dad was than moved upstairs and everybody on that Floor was very kind and very professional. They did everything they could to help him and determine what the next steps would be. Unfortunately the Cancer had spread very rapidly and there was nothing that could be done for him anymore.

One night my Dad wanted to Shave and the Nurse on Duty that night made it happen for him. That is something that I will never forget.

Even though he was very sick and dying my Dad never lost his sense of humor. :)
