Islands Restaurant Phoenix

My friend took me to Islands for a birthday lunch because its my favorite. It had been awhile since we'd seen each other. We talked A LOT! Our server, Zach, was wonderful. He let us chat but never stopped checking on us. The food was great and we had a great time! Thank you!

Had lunch here and the burgers were delicious! The Hula had an amazing stack of mushrooms on it and really brought out the flavors of the burger. I was told that the Malibu burger was also very good. The Mai Tai was absolutely tasty and would definitely get it again. My only advice if anyone wants that is that the burger buns could totally be some kind of Hawaiian burger bun with loads of extra flavor than it did. That would improve things if they chose to take it a notch higher. If Islands actually do have that style and I missed it, then I guess I didn't taste it. It seemed like just a white roll. Otherwise, will visit again. Great tasting Hula burger, oh man. If you like mushrooms, grab it. I added ketchup.

Wasn't sure if we wanted to eat here at first with so many selections in the area. It was definitely a great choice. The decor, the food and the customer service. Employees looked genuinely happy to work there. Our server was awesome. We watched other tables being served and the manager was supporting her team as well. We were seated near the kitchen and you can hear the staff having fun while the kitchen is calling them for food pick ups. We ordered a bunch of appetizers as we wanted to just try a few things and everything was great. Their cheesy fries were really good, surprisingly good as they still had a crunch with the melted cheese on it. Definitely will go there again when I'm in that area. Had a few margaritas as well. I will say thank you for this surprisingly great experience. It was a breath a fresh air from what the new norm at food places have been. It shows that you have the right leader in place for this team.

Haven’t been to an Islands for a long time but this place was really good! Our waitress was very friendly and upbeat. Restaurant was clean and didn’t have to wait long as it was just after the lunch rush.

The burgers here are really big and cooked perfectly. The toppings are all fresh and nicely prepared. The french fries are my favorite. Crispy and not too salty or greasy. All in all, I definitely will come back to this location.

I have been coming here since around 2007, I used to come here with my mom all the time, and now I come alone and am always treated with such kindness by all of the staff. The food is always so good and the service is incredible, even when they are busy they continue to stay on top of it and are so attentive.
