I have to admit, when were were referred here, I immediately thought college rum joint.... hmmmm? Was I wrong! This is a beautiful little neighborhood establishment that takes great pride in its offerings. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and had passion for what they do. We had a lovely meal, drinks and dessert. All choices were excellent and our server was perfect. If you have an opportunity, please check them out! Absolutely amazing! Quite possibly one of the best entree's I've had in Phoenix. Had the Tamarind Fish, like I said above, amazing! Awesome cocktails, friendly employees and relaxing atmosphere. What else could you ask for?
We shared a plate of the Pepper Shrimp. Fantastic! We both had the Wiz Bang to wash it down with. Next up, we both had the Spanish Gentleman. Great way to end the evening. Awesome food, great drinks.
Very quaint, hidden and a very romantic ambience and feel. Pricey or as I like to say EXPENSIVE. The flavors in my appetizer, the sea scallops were heaven on earth and I truly didn't want the experience to end. I got the punch bowl , a drink and as my server Vince described , it was fruity and crisp. Perfect with my appetizer. Dinner was the curried goat and again, a heavenly experience. The portion was as much as I'd hoped. I say hoped because everyone knows high end cuisine NEVER gives large portions, I'm aware. The chef is amazing! Would I go back? It was a delicious, expensive, experience as I paid over $100.00 for my meal and I was alone. It was nice but for that price I expect more food, as I would get at Fleming's. May not be the best comparison but I work hard for my money.
This place is the bomb! All the cocktails are legit. Their bartenders are serious about making excellent drinks. The food is fantastic. Must try!
