“I absolutely love Emily! She is a kind, patient, and resourceful 3rd grade teacher. She has a positive attitude and an encouraging demeanor. My son is very shy and gets easily frustrated due to his past experiences in his school, so he was reluctant to begin tutoring. However, from the moment he walked in her door, she had a warm smile and she knew exactly how to make him feel safe, welcome, and show how learning can be fun. It’s only been roughly two months (we have a one hour session twice a week) and we’ve already seen progression with him asking questions, grammar, and reading. After each session, Emily lets us know what his focus areas are and what he can practice at home throughout the week until their next session. It’s relieving to know that my son has a higher chance of passing the AZELLA test with her help. She exceeds our high expectations and is super flexible with our work schedules. I’m so happy I was able to find such an amazing person and I look forward to see how bright my son’s academic future gets with her assistance.”
