Good entry to the trails of phx. The presentations are well done and historical. The gift shop Is high end. The kachina are the best but pricey. Good luck.
Very clean. The folks that work there are super friendly. The facility has lots of rooms for community groups to use.
Nice visitor center, helpful staff, information boards, a small library, cool place from the summer heat, trailhead to many other trails on the Phoenix preserve.
I love it. The volunteer was very helpful and informative. Incredible photography of local wildlife and very clean. What a wonderful gift to the Southwest to have such a nature-conscientious organization volunteer-run and supported.
The gentleman in the visitor's center was incredibly informed about the history of the center as well as the area. It was a great treat to learn so much history in such a short time. Some stories almost seemed surreal they seem so crazy now, about people who worked in the cinnabar mines and walked miles back after a day's work.
