I've enjoyed my experience so far. I feel it's a good environment to learn and train. I think the Sensei is very knowledgeable and motivational and is a good teacher and a good team to work with. I recommend this dojo to anyone who wants to learn or continue their training in martial arts.

I was window shopping for karate classes for my son for a few weeks. From the time I called, to visiting Monica was super pleasant and even called to remind me to bring my son to try it out! Sensei Kikin has a very respectful and welcoming demeanor and my child took a liking to him. I love the fact that their sons and daughter are very active in helping with the operations. My son can’t wait to get to class each day. Classes start promptly with NO time wasted. The online portal is really easy to use. I can go on and on, but I’ll say I’m extremely excited for my son to continue learning here!

This is the best martial arts school ever! It is a very family-oriented environment and everyone is welcome. The curriculum is fantastic and you always continue to learn. Ucelo Martial Arts is the place to be if you are in Arizona! I moved from out of state from a different school and they welcomed me with open arms. They push you through an intense and amazing workout every class. Master Kikin lives and breathes martial arts. Just pay attention to the top black belts in the school, they are the real deal!!

I love the camaraderie that I see in this place. I’ve visited because my husband trains and then roped my two nieces in. They are about family, community and respect. I’ve noticed such a dramatic change in my nieces’ demeanors. The owner/ sensei Kikin is a kind and patient instructor. And while I am not actively training, I know Its intimidating to go to a new place and train in an art you know very little about but when you have supportive peers and an instructor that meets you at the level you’re at, the experience is a game changer.
