Great place to hear the word of God and understand it. Friendly congregation. Family oriented.

This isn’t one of those churches where you have to speak a bunch of Christian Jargon in order to fit in.

It isn’t one of those perfect churches, full of perfect people with a perfect pastor either.

In fact it’s quite the opposite… it’s full of imperfect people, with an imperfect pastor and staff passionately pursuing Jesus.

So don’t come here if you’re seeking perfection.

Come here if you’re seeking “community” with real people with real struggles who do not hide their scars. Or tattoos for that matter.

It’s not a flashy hipster church. There isn’t any of those “holier than thou” attitudes to be bothered with either.
The vibe is pretty laid back there, you can come just as you are. It’s a simple church setting with all kinds of people, rich in diversity and age groups.

Service is only one hour each Sunday from 10 -11 am. Coffee and tea, are served each week by friendly faces that will make you feel welcomed, like you belong.

Live church steaming is available online through their FB page or their YouTube channel.

There’s even a Podcast of past half hour sermons to listen to, making listening to the gospel easier than ever; and the pastor has such a gift in presenting the word of God in such a fresh new way, balancing preaching and teaching in a way only few pastors can.

You won’t feel “condemned” but instead “compelled” by God’s spirit once you leave here!

They have a kid’s program for infants through 10 years old. Although, classes are very small and age groups are combined, it works well for this small church setting.

Kids in Jr.High and older will have to join their families during Sunday services but it’s okay because several of their peers are able to volunteer on Sunday’s by singing or playing on stage, and elsewhere.

This is truly a church that invest in the next generation, that treats their youth members like they matter.
They even have a separate Youth Service on Wednesday nights from 6-8 with food being provided every other week!!

It’s been my family’s church that we call “home” for the past 7 years and it’s been exciting to see all that God is doing through this small yet impactful place!

But what I love most about this church is, it’s sweet sense of “brother and sisterhood” that you won’t find anywhere else!

You’ll really feel like you’re apart of a healthy family here.

I love it here! I've been coming since I moved here 3 years ago. Everyone is so kind and I get so much from the words I'm needing to hear practically ever visit. Both Ryan & Joe are awesome! If you haven't been to a service and you're looking for a welcoming place to come to, this is the spot!!! I look forward to the next service😊

This is like the best Church ever. We have a great pastor and pastoral team. Ryan Lunceford is the lead pastor and Joe Groenwald is our next Generation pastor who heads up the teen ministry, his Wife Carmel Groenwald is over Music Ministry and has a huge choir background she also organizes the Children's ministry. The Genesis Church is partnered with Alice Coopers Solid Rock, what they do is teach the teens to play musical instruments, Hodgie Jo, (a martial artist), teaches Dance, Sophie Dorsten instructs and gives singing lessons.k
Kevin Schoeff teaches arts painting etc. There is also a recording studio...
Not many Churches offer all this free to our teens😊 food is also sometimes provided as a treat. Alice cooper also puts on Pudding where young performers can get their first break.
