Active Renter Property Management

I highly recommend using Active Renter. I had to rent my house out when I moved out of state for my job. I used a different company the first year but after catching them in multiple lies, including replacing our more expensive fridge with a cheap one and then denying it, I found Active Renter to take over the property management. I was very happy with them and even used them when I sold my house 4 years later. They were great with communicating always keeping me updated on the status of the house. Any time a repair was needed they would walk me through the options and had great contacts that offered reasonable pricing. For selling the house they used an photographer that took some really great photos of the house that made it standout. When it was put on the market (3 years ago) it had 10 offers the first Saturday of the open house. It can be stressful to be out of state while renting and selling your house but they made it seamless.

I have been working with Active Renter over the past five years to manage my rental property. Richard Hoey and his team have proven themselves to be true professionals. They capably took care of screening out renters, as well as billing and contract management. Furthermore, they promptly took care of any maintenance issues.
I highly recommend them, and would work with them again in the future if I had to do it all over again.

Any maintenance issues are dealt with immediately. Calls and questions are addressed within the day so there is an open line of communication which is important in feeling comfortable as a tenant. Active Renter is the company that manages the property I have lived in for over 2 years and we have not had a single negative experience during our lease. When there were maintenance issues things were resolved promptly and professionally. In our final term of the lease they have been extremely helpful in informing us of our options within the terms of the lease. Additionally Active Renter took the additional step of inquiring what concessions the landlord is willing to make, if applicable, if we were to move out earlier than the full term of the lease. From a tenant perspective they are professional and a pleasure to work with. Payment system and tenant portal did exactly what it needed to do for things to run smoothly without headache. Would highly recommend anyone to work with them as either a tenant or as someone looking to rent out a property.
