(July 13, 2019, 12:06 pm)I've been coming here for almost 12 years now. It's my favorite little hideaway that just so happens to have the best steaks.
The menu is simple and easy to figure out. They have some amazing desserts. The brownie and apple pie are both covered in ice cream and whip cream.
Aside from the food and desserts, this place has some amazing views of the valley and is so inviting. -

(July 7, 2019, 10:27 am)While it is a steakhouse, the current favorite meal choice is the BBQ ribs. Which by the way are not on the menu. They are tender and fall right off the bone, the sauce is sweet and tangy. Their ribs are currently my favorite in the valley. The views here are fantastic. You can see the whole valley lit up at night. The bathrooms have horse related names, I cannot recall for sure at the moment. They do have a bar and often have live music. It is very rustic and possibly historic. This is a great place for gathering. They do have outdoor seating. Most if not all of the tables are picnic tables so watch it when setting your beverage down. The service is decent, as with any restaurant it depends on the server you get. The owner is a very sweet man who will occasionally come though and check that everyone is enjoying their experience. It is family friendly.

(July 5, 2019, 6:15 pm)Good food, good atmosphere, great views of the valley. The night I went, the service was a bit slow and I think they down a couple of wait staff. Very laidback, unpretentious vibe. Informal aesthetic. Great place to go if u want to go grab a well cooked steak in your casual attire.

(June 19, 2019, 1:47 pm)This is an amazing place to take guests new to Arizona. It's high on the mountain so you can see all of Phoenix. At night the lights are incredible. Prices are a bit high but it's worth the great steaks!

(June 17, 2019, 9:34 pm)It feels like a simpler time in life when I come here. Very low lit but a lot of natural light coming through the windows. The food is amazing. Definitely a hidden gem of South Mountain.
