  I arrived on the last day before closing for the month of July, so most of everything had been sold off, BUT, I did score some excellent dried sausage and beautiful fruit filled loaf breads and fruit filled buns. As soon as they re open, I'll be there to sample everyhting!

  Great bakery selection. The cookies were excellent as was the custard flaky squares.

  My two most recent experiences with Jana's Bakery has warranted a five star review though... Every single person who had a slice of the Kringle or a pastry inquired to where did it come from, with comments of "it's delicious!". My friend told me that she loved the coconut tops (which she assumed where macaroons), so I decided to return today to grab a dozen for her to have and again share with family and friends who stop by. When I told the bakery they were for a gift, they packaged them in the box with the cellophane window so they made a lovely presentation. It's the little things that make a big difference!

  Great bakery! Hard to find a good place for poppyseed cake and kolache, but Jana's is the go-to! Kolache dough is of the shortbread variety.
