The Bike Shop

Went here to refurbish my 2011 Trek 3 Series hard tail. I knew it needed some work as it hadn't been ridden in quite awhile.

The owner was very professional, helpful, and was honest about the work (including the various price tiers). He has specialty bikes and equipment there for sale, which were well above my Trek, but he reassured that he could get the bike working like a champ again and wasn't trying to hard sell me out of my Trek.

When I left, I realized that the work done on it was with an attention to detail. I've since been riding on various trails at San Tan Mountain. Haven't had a complaint and I'm glad to have my bike back.

I'll plan on returning with any major maintenance inquiries and any other future business. The experience and result was well worth it.

I started going to The Bike Shop some time last year and have always had an awesome and easy experience working with the crew over there. I think every visit I have been helped by Jeff who is just an awesome dude. The team there is always super laid back and understanding. They have always been able to help me out and get me back up and running. My most recent experience was when I was out riding Hawes trail system and my rear wheel stopped responding to peddling (free spinning) after hiking it out of the trail 4 miles my buddy I was with told me we should check it out at the bike shop near Hawes. That shop told me the rear hub was shot and they couldn’t rebuild it so they said I had to buy a new hub or wheel. Some run around later with that shop, I just went and got my bike back and took it to The Bike Shop, they were able to get the rear hub fixed in no time. Turned out the hub just needed new grease and $25 later I was back up and running as good as new. I am so thankful to have a good bike shop with good always helpful people I can trust so close to my house.

Joe and his team are top notch! My wife and I recently got into mountain biking. When we first met Joe, we knew instantly that The Bike Shop was going to be our LBS. He was able to walk us through the different types of bikes available (COVID, very little inventory) and we agreed to wait for his next shipment. Bikes arrived and fitted last week, and we could not be more happier with our decision. He was able to get us fully kitted out with the necessary items for novice riders. He did not load us up with a bunch of gadgets and supplies we will never need.

While Joe has a lot to offer, a bike with an a/c unit was not available. Excited for the upcoming cooler temps to push our limits on the area trails.
